Just wanted to share this album that I just got..
Its currently the biggest album in my collection.. And i was kinda shocked at its size at 1st..
Its almost the same size as my laptop!!~~
Its around 30cm by 30cm... But when you open it up, its length is 3/4 of my table!!~~
And this album is noneother than 전진(JunJin)'s Fascination Album..
Think its a limited edition kind of album, that's why it came with a number...

Wasted Trip

Made a wasted trip down to Town today for a reason which I dun wish to state it here..
I'm sorry that Min had to accompany me on this wasted trip..

We had our lunch at one of the cafes at Park Mall.
Hmmm... The food there wasnt that nice... Funniest thing was Min took that as Breakfast..

Visited the Art Museum..
We were lucky that we managed to get free entry, and there was only 3 more mins b4 that promo ends...
Sadly, both of us couldnt really enjoy the art pieces inside.. hahaz..

Walked down to Marina Square's HK Cafe for lunch(according to Min's dictionary)..
Sigh, whenever i go out with Min, we're sure to eat alot..
Her appetitite is sure quite big, but she cant seem to eat buffet. lol..

Lunch Out with Terry and Min

Met up with Terry and Min for lunch yesterday.. Decided to have buffet lunch at Marina Square's Yuki n Yaki. At first I thought it was those normal buffet, but in turn, it turned out to be BBQ cum Steamboat buffet.. hehe.. The food there was not bad, except for their soup base.. Think it was the fish soup that tasted funny, it was kinda salty?? or was it extremely salty?? so in the end, i avoided having that soup, but the other 2 said that it tasted normal.. hmm, maybe i just didnt like the taste. When we decided to have 2nd round of soup, the guy came and top up the soup, but we didnt know which is which, so in the end, both chicken and fish got mixed up, and both sides of the soup tasted extremely weird, and i avoided it since then.. lolx.. But i preferred the BBQ.. ^^ After BBQ and steamboat, came the highlight, the reason why we went to Yuki n Yaki - the ice cream buffet!!~~ The ice cream mixture was prepared and all we had to put was to "cook" it.. We tried all flavours, all was yummy except for green tea & cappucino.. Never try it, i'm telling you guys.. You're bound to regret it!!~~ We had a hard time eating the ice cream as it got stick to the pan, and we were tring to "dig and dig".. It was funny doing, you could see ice cream flying all over.. lolx..

We managed to get a good deal for that lunch, both buffets for just $19, and there was also a free flower crab which was quite big.. All this, thanks to some sort of promo they were having, where if you pay using a credit card when you have a big grp.. The cashier decided to consolidate the whole restaurant's customers bills to entitle us for this promo.. I think it was something like that.. lolx..

After lunch, we walked around Marina Square & Suntec City, before heading to Raffles City to get our Jump! tickets!!!~~ I'm so happy that i've gotten it.. YEA!!~~~ I got served by my ex-cathechist who was working there.. What a small world.... And terry said i was flirting with him.. dang him... but they were kinda surprised that he was my cathechist... and i myself was surprised that he recognised me, even after almost 4 years??

Oh ya, while walking around Marina Square, we came across this shop where they had all these machines where you "catch dolls".. And we tried it out, we got so "addicted" to it that we spent almost $10 there.. lolx.. and all we got were 2 cookie monster, 1 elmo & 1 Big Bird mini mini toy.. Its really mini, and we dun even know what its use for, its neither a hp charm nor a key chain.. hahaz..

Whoa, i didnt realise that this was such a long post.. I just typed and typed and viola, its soo long.. hehe.. Well, i'm just sooooo bored, that i've got nothing to do.... sigh... BORING!!~~

Well well, i just wanted to share 2ne1's debut stage on 17 May's Inkigayo.. hahaz.. i know i'm 1 month late but i was really busy to catch up with my shows.. If its not for my this 2 week holidays, i guess my list of shows to watch will keep growing.. Anyways, i love their song "Fire".. And their stage performance were great, they had that "X-factor"..

p.s the song's rather addictive.. lolx.. i know i i've been saying how addictive songs are.. But, its a fact, if it isnt addictive, it wouldnt catch my attention and i wouldnt post it here.. wahahaha.. ~~and i've just realised, this is the 1st time i'm posting on female singers.. hehe.. so it proves i'm normal and not bias.. wahaha~~

Initially wanted to take the cable car down to a bus interchange, but sadly it was closed for maintenance.. So decided to go to the Chin Swee Temple... And the view from there was breath-taking..

It was finally time to head back home.. Shortly after leaving Genting, the bus brought us to a place to buy local goods.. And, of course, I didnt buy any.. wahaha..

Super Junior had their final Goodbye Stage on Inkigayo.. *sniff sniff*.. Its the last time we're gonna see them on music shows.. However, i preferred yesterday's performance as compared to today's.. Even though emo-teuk was kinda obvious yesterday, but their performance was even better than today's.. The stage, their performance, it looked like they were having a lot of fun.. And it somewhat felt that yesterday was their final performance instead..

*sniff sniff* Time really passes extremely fast.. Super Junior is already having their Goodbye Stage this week. But it seems to me that they only made their comeback just recently.. For their Goodbye Stage on Music Core, they did a medley of 너라고 (It's You) & Sorry Sorry. I kinda love the stage for It's You, there were sort of 2 levels, but those on the "2nd storey" seemed weird when they were dancing.. lolx.. And OMG!!~~ RyeoWook's smile at 2:22 is just sooo cute!!~ Anyways, its sad that they're having their goodbye stage so soon, but wish them all the best for their Super Show 2 concert.. I'm looking forward to it.. Weee!~~

Genting Trip - Day 1

Let's talk about the 1st day of my Genting Trip, shall we?? Took a coach down to Genting. Headed to Golden Mile for our bus ride at 10pm. Strangely, our bus didnt turn up, it somewhat went missing.. Luckily, we were put on another bus. Took us about 7 hours before we reached Genting.. It was only 5am when we reached.. 1st thing we did was to take the queue number that would be used to check-in. And we got 132!!~ And check in time was only at 1 pm!!~~ (the use of captions starts from here.. lolx..p.s they are all in order, as in the time the pics were taken)

And it also happened to be one of my fav songs from SG Wannabe.. hmm, basically, all of SG Wannabe's songs are my favourites.. I really love their voice, and i love the tune,lyrics, everything about their songs.. wahaha.. Their songs are so touching.. And this MV is so touching, i cried at the end, and along with SG Wannabe's voices, the MV's even more touching.. hahaz.. Just watch this!!~

Back from a short getaway

I'm back from a place where I nearly froze to death.. Managed to get a short getaway and get a few days rest... I practically was freezing, with the lowest temp being 10+ degrees.. wahaha.. Went down to catch Crackers for the 2nd time, and the last time.. Well, its worth watching anyway.. hahaz.. the crowd today was waaaayyy larger than yesterday.. The show was still awesome, even when it was the 2nd that i'm watching it, the only bad thing was that this person who also happened to watch it yest, was telling what's gonna happen next and so on, what a mood spoiler.. However, there were some minor hiccups during the show today, such as there was a tiny problem with the mic, and one of the fireworks didnt turn out the way as it was supposed to.. Nevertheless, it was still an awesome show.. Oh ya, and today, no camera in my hand, just pure enjoyment of the fireworks display with my naked eye.. lolx

Had dinner at BBQ chicken before the show.. The food there was nice, their food isnt that oily.. But their portion was big.. bleh, why are there so many stalls nowadays that sell such big portion food.. hahaz..

Crackers

Headed down to Joo Chiat for lunch, had the bamboo noodles which was advertised in 8 days.. And their noodles were delicious, so Q... Their wanton was also yummy, their filling was meat, mushroom, and fish roe!! *drools*.. The ambience there was also nice..

Went to watch Crackers, its the closing celebration for the Singapore Art's Festival?? It was a show full of fireworks, fire crackers.. The spot we were at was the best.. The place where they "fired" the fireworks were right in front of our eyes, and the fireworks display was awesome.. From our spot, the fireworks looks "huge".. but having the front spot isnt that good, i got hit by this huge cork, which i think came from the "fireworks".. lolx. This was the best fireworks display that I have ever seen... Its so different from those NDP's firework display...

Will post up the videos real soon.. (after posting up the zoo pics.. lolx.. another 56 more to edit.. hahaz.. :p).. So for now, here's a little snapshot that I took out from the video...

Went down to IT fair after school today.. Its a weekday and its already kinda crowded. I wouldnt want to imagine how's the crowd gonna be like over the weekends... Manage to "grab" a box of DVD-R and a hard-disk... The hard-disk is just so pretty!!~~ We literally spent almost 4 hours there.. On the way back, stopped by HMV and bought 2 CDs.. well, i bought them because I thought the CDs that I bought from YesAsia would only be arriving in 2 weeks time.. However, my YesAsia order somehow, somewhat was under the express service, and I recieved it in just 2 days.. Thus, now, I have a total of 7 new CDs to my collection.. wahaha....

Well, I was watching the Mirotic Concert in Seoul, and i was shocked to see how HUGE the crowd was.. No wonder they never give Singapore a thought, just look at their stadium size and the amount of people.. If it was Singapore, i think it'll most probably be between 1/4 - 1/2 of that in Seoul.. *sigh*

Fun at the Zoo

Went to the Zoo today with B.I.S.Y, to celebrate my birthday.. We had no where else to go, so we decided to visit the zoo.. We met up at Mac to have breakfast before cabbing down to the zoo.. Was kinda surprised to see that there was already a crowd even though it was only 9am... Decided to catch the "Sealion" show as Rat's penguins were in it.. lolx.. her main motive of visiting is the zoo is to visit the penguins & White Tiger.. This time round, we managed to catch all of the shows except for the Elephant Show.. The worst show that we watched would be "The Wild Aussies" show.. well, it isnt that bad, just that it was more suitable for young kids instead of us, grown-ups.. Halfway through our trip, it started to rain extremely heavily, so we had no choice but to sit on the tram and go round the zoo, but in the end, we got down the tram only after 2 stops..

Lunched at Kid's World's KFC since that was the only choice for us.. After renovation works, Kid's World now looks more beautiful than before.. We also managed to catch the White Tiger's feeding session... The meat that the tigers eat is kinda huge, and they can really catch the meat quite accurately, think its all because of the food.. hahaz... Took the boat ride since its included in the package, and it was really BORING!!~~ but, the scenery throughout the boat ride was very nice...

Nothing much to say since we spent the whole day there, and its gonna be extremely hard for me to list it one by one... so, just wait up for the pics eh... i doubt it'll be up that soon, since there's like 200+ pics, and i'm gonna be rather busy this week with all my presentations & projects.. So, please be patient, and I'll post the pics up ASAP...

Early Wishes

Had an early birthday lunch with Mummy today at Tao's Restaurant..The restaurant was so packed as compared to the 1st time i went, which was like 2/3 years ago.. hahaz.. Glad that their business has gotten so good, since their menu there is unique.. Their menu consists of a 6-course meal where we'll have to pick one dish from one course.. But, what I like most about their restaurant is their staff there, they're extremely friendly, makes me feel as though like I'm eating at home.. ^-^ And, one of their staff there somehow, somewhat got to know that it was my birthday, and i got no idea how he knew... And thus, as usual, i got a free Tao's version of birthday cake which was ice-cream and brownies.. hehe.. I would highly recommend this place to people who want good food and good service, p.s i've introduced this place to almost all of my friends, and i've brought them there.. wahaha.. no harm "advertising" such a great place, right?? Had dinner with Kor at Northpoint's Thai Kitchen or is it Thai Restaurant?? The food was nice, loved the Sambal KangKong the most.. yum yum.. But i feel that their food is getting less spicier, which I dun kinda like.. hahaz.. I can still remember the many scenes where someone ate there and started crying due to the spiciness.. lolx...

My birthday is like a few more days away, and yet, i've gotten 4 bdae wishes already.. 1 from min, who was the earliest, and i've got no idea why she wished me that early when i'm gonna see her on my bdae itself.. And the other 3 would be from the staff at Tao's... Guess i'm gonna have more bdae wishes this year, since i would normally just have 6-7 wishes per year.. hahaz.. ^^

*yea, going out with BISY to the zoo tomorrow.. yippee!!~~

Its gonna be like another Kpop concert in Singapore after Rain & Korea Festival's Kpop Concert.. Its just like a hard to come by concert type of feeling.. hmm, even though F.T Island is coming to Singapore this month for their showcase, but then, their tix is like $100.. And I'm so definitely not gonna pay $100 for a showcase ticket, I might consider paying it if its a concert instead...

Blood: The last Vampire

After certain "twists and turns", we ended up watching Blood: The Last Vampire.. It's funny how they actually showed the preview of the movie during the ads that were running before the show and it said "Coming Soon".. We were like "Yea, its really coming soon. As a matter of fact, its coming soon in a few minutes".. wahaha.. When the show started, i felt that it was gonna be a grossy movie with all those slaying and stuffs, but it wasnt really that bad.. The storyline was overall quite good, only the ending was an exception.. hahaz.. How should i put it? The ending was kinda abrupt/ too sudden/ too weird?? I was hoping for a better ending..

AHH!!~~ I've got to stop this bad habit of watching movies every monday and friday, which has been happening for the past few weeks.. BRENDA!!~~ STOP WATCHING MOVIES!!~~

Pulau Tekong

Well well, i shouldnt talk about that sucky presentation that I had at the start of school..
Let's fast forward all the way to our excursion to BMTC at Pulau Tekong.. We practically survived on one sandwich for the whole of the day since we didnt have that much time to have lunch.. Arrived at the Ferry terminal and was greeted with sights of recruits eating as though they were "stocking up for winter".. hahaz.. it looks like its gonna be tough inside..

The moment I boarded the fast-craft, I could feel my sea-sickness kicking in... And luckily, the trip lasted for only 10 mins.. While I set foot on land, I thought i saw the island opposite of Tekong moving up and down , lolx.. On this excursion, I can really consider it as an eye-opener for me.. The whole island looked way better than what I had imagined.. It looked more like a resort rather than a training ground.. We got to see what were some of the equipments that the recruits would be given when they enlist, we also got to see the bunks, with the 12-INCH mattress, which our guide kept emphasising on the "12 Inch".. hahaz.. We got to tour the training grounds too, got to see their "shooting range", and we had a go at "shooting".. We also got to see a demostration on the Obstacle Course.. Last station of the tour would be the food rations, which we were waiting for the whole time since we were kinda hungry, and in the end, we got to try one teaspoon of the rations.. wahahaha... But sadly though, the rations this time round werent that yummy as the ones i had eaten many years back.. *Sadd-ed*.. That marks the end of the Tekong Tour, and as expected, I got that queasy feeling in me once again while on the fast-craft back to our lovely island, Singapore.. ^-^

Headed down to J8 for breakfast cum lunch cum dinner... Ate at pizza hut, but we somewhat got cheated by the word "xxx Meal at $6.90"... The portion was really small, no wonder it only cost $6.90.. lolx.. in the end, we headed down to basement for desserts and we were finally full.. Played at arcade for a little while before heading home...

No pics for today since no cameras were allowed on Tekong.. So, just try to imagine it in your head.. hahaz.. All you have to know is that Tekong isnt really bad as what we've heard..

And now, time to be stress once again.. sigh.. Brenda, Hwaiting!!~~ You can do it!!~~

Many atimes, I will ask myself if I have chosen the correct route??
I'm feeling totally helpless, be it in school or home..
Nothing goes smoothly in school.. Can never seem to understand a single thing.. Can never seem to get along with the new environment.. Can never seem to do something right..
I've always wanted to do something, but I always get lost... USELESS!! ~!@#$%^&

I've always envied this phrase : "Home is always the best place".. Perhaps its just the best place for me to hide, with no one really to talk to.. Getting blamed for not doing something when I wasnt even allowed to do it when I asked for it.. Not being able to talk about without losing our cool.. All of us are just like "skeletons", doing our own stuff.. When trying to break the ice, all i get is just a one-word answer and its all back to square 1..

I've always envied people who are able to share jokes with their families, get to go out as one whole family, even being able to sit down together to watch tv or even just for a meal.. And perhaps even being able to talk with one another.. But they just never seem to be contented with being able to do all these... But what they never know that there is someone like me who wants these things which they were never contented with... Due to the huge age gap between me and my family, all these are all i have ever wished for...

I've started to realise that I'm just nothing but a walking zombie.. Doing all the stuffs that I'm supposed to do, with no thoughts or motivation.. I'm just doing it so as to get it over and done with, and break free from all these nonsence..

How i wish time would pass faster and I can get on with my new phase of life.. Or perhaps time should just stop at this point of time and not move forward..

Prepared my "secret weapon", i wrote all the codes as small as possible, and it ended up looking like ants.. my fingers were hurting after all those writing..But, even with this "secret weapon", my codes didnt manage to work.. ~!@#$%^&
The lecture today was totally a hypnothesis session...Lecture today was on law... Really can sleep sia..

Went down to catch Dance! Subaru with Poh Tee after school..
P.s I didnt watch it just because of DBSK's 10sec appearance..
I wanted to watch it because of its seemingly nice storyline, and also because the movie revolves around dance..I can't seem to understand why would people actually pay a ticket for a 2 hour show just to watch DBSK appear for a mere 10secs..well, at least i wouldnt be crazy to do that..*pls dun bash me for this sentence^^*
This movie turned out to be a great movie..It showed the determination of the lead actress, and her love for dancing..There were also numerous scenes where it was very touching..And I dun think i would need to mention how AWESOME were the dance scenes in this movie...

Singapore Expo Day ^^

Was feeling rather bored today, so decided to go to the Food Fair at Singapore Expo, together with Mummy.. Before heading down to the Expo, we decided to have lunch at Tampines first.. While we were looking for stuffs to eat at Tampines 1, i decided to pop into Uniqlo since it was rather "empty", well it can be considered empty if you've seen the crazy queue that was formed when it 1st opened.. hmmm, grabbed 4 tops while shopping at Uniqlo, and i think that marks the start of my Great Singapore Sale Shopping Spree ba?? hahaz... Settled for lunch at Imperial Treasure Nan Bei Restaurant ( what a long name)... Orderded their high-tea set, and it was rather cheap and it was filling.. yum yum.. I loved the "Polo Bao", and definitely their Macaroni.. Wee!!~~

Headed down to Expo after lunch, and there were sooo many fairs being held.. Popular Fair, Food Fair, John Little Fair,Harvey Norman Fair... And the crowd over there was "AWESOME!!!".. Visited the John Little Fair 1st and there were soo many things to buy, but the queue for the cashier was rather time-consuming.. hahaz.. After that, went to the Food fair next door, and the range of things being sold there was huge.. There were things ranging from Massage Chairs to Kitchen Appliances and also definitely food!!~~ I bought the Do-Do fish cake (the pic on the top), just because I loved how the way they packaged it.. hahaz.. but their fish cakes were delicious too... Left soon after Mummy bought her dinner since Kor would be coming over to our house, and we couldnt continue "exploring".. ^^

Took the train down to Changi Airport to take the bus home.. We didnt want to risk getting caught in the usual crowd at Tampines Interchange.. Since the time taken to reach home either via the Changi Airport route or the Tampines route is almost the same, so it doesnt really matter which route we take, perhaps only the crowd at Tampines made the major difference.. wahaha..

*Yea!!~~ Going to zoo next week...

Started off the day as usual by going to school.. the only difference would be, there was a mock interview session today.. and its worth 20% of our overall marks.. sianz.. but luckily all of us fared quite well for it.. My team was the 1st team to interview the other team, and it was kinda hilarious since we didnt really know how to interview people.. When it was our team's turn to be interviewed, we had to wait outside the class.. That was the scariest part as you wouldnt know what's going on inside.. When it was finally my turn, i was soo nervous that all my answers were kinda short, i think? but the teacher didnt say anything.. She only said I answered quite well for the question except for 1.. ^^*sigh of relief*

After school, went down to AMK Hub to watch Monstors vs Aliens movie in 3D!!~~ Weee!!~~ It was my first time watching a 3D movie.. I sound like a "JaKoon" right?? hahaz.. The effects of the movie was awesome, the whole movie felt very "real".. However, the storyline was kinda boring, I actually felt asleep for a short while during the movie.. hehe... But the movie was really full of laughter... And Min finally bought her game, i bet she's extremely happy.. The toy that came with the game is soooo cute....

After the movie, at a random suggestion of having Sushi, we headed down to Suki Sushi for their sushi buffet.. We just suddenly felt like drinking sake, so we ordered one sparkling sake.. Its alcohol percentage is like 7% and i was already like OMG... hahaz.. I finally got to eat the sashimi that I had eaten in Korea.. And because of this sentence " I 1st ate Sashimi when I was in Korea.", I got laughed at by Min and Poh Tee.. They were saying why in the world did I go all the way to Korea just to eat Sashimi instead of Kimchi.. wahaha...I had fallen in love with Sashimi when i 1st ate it in Korea.. And today could be considered the 2nd time I'm having Sashimi.. Oh man, I've forgotten what's that sashimi called?? Anyone remembers???There was this red bean pancake that i ordered, its doraemon's favourite?? wahaha... And its appearance was a far cry from what I had actually expected... hehe.. The buffet cost a total of $85.. I think its considered cheap since we ate 2 plates of sashimi, ate almost 10+ plates of sushi, ordered sake, ordered 2 plates chicken, etc...

Well, we were supposed to be doing our communication skills assignment.. Min and I were using facebook to communicate since she wasnt on MSN.. And as usual, we were never really focused on our assignment.. So we added up doing this Boys Over Flowers Quiz on facebook and we ended up "chatting" on facebook, we even chatted on Lina's post.. hahaz.. It might seem normal right?? but just look at the timings.. 18 posts in just 30 mins.. Isnt that madness?? hahaz.. National Museum of Singapore

HELLO!!~~~ It's time for a looong post... Be very prepared.. I really love this 2 pics... hahaz.. Okie, the long post is gonna start very soon.. Ready??!! Sit back, scroll and enjoy.. ^^

We had another National Excursion (NE) today.. We went to the National Museum of Singapore today.. And today, we brought along some "mini picnic".. hahaz..

We got bored while waiting for the time which we had to assembled to arrive, and we started to take random shots while waiting.. And, i caught Min trying to snap a photo of me. ^^

The journey to the National Museum was faster as compared to last week's visit to Discovery Centre.. When we alighted from the bus, we had to wait again.. well, isnt waiting/queueing one of the characteristis of Singaporeans?? hahaz.. And once again, we started to get bored and Jas started "cam-whoring" and I soon followed suit.. lolx.. We "cam-whored" quite alot today, no idea why, but it just suddenly happened.. ^^

This sticker would be our "pass" throughout the whole museum.. We were able to gain entry to all the galleries with this sticker.. Oh ya, this time, it was a free & easy type of tours without having a guided tour.. Its better though, we get to move along at our own pace, without having to catch up with the whole group, and we'll be able to see all the exhibits without having to worry about having not enough time..

This guy handsome right?? Perhaps without that red eyes, I might say he is handsome.. lol.. And does Min look like a typical tourist who is looking at a map of what we should check out while in the museum?? OMG, its not as though the museum is that big, big till we need a map.. ;p

Above are some pics of the interior and exterior of the museum..There was this exhibit at the main entrance where many tanks were actually stacked high up and it was in pink, with those artistic design.. And obviously, it wasnt real tanks.. lolx.. The design on the ceiling of the museum was very nice, it looks like glass painting, or maybe its really glass painting..

These photos were taken in one of the galleries.. Cant really remember the theme for this gallery though..

However, I can definitely remember which gallery the above 2 pics were taken since its kinda obvious.. Its the photography gallery.. That thing in the on the right is actually an olden days camera. The camera back then was so bulky.. Luckily, we wouldnt have to lug this type of camera around nowadays.. hahaz..

When walking through the "Singapore's History" gallery, we were given this device which they call "Companion".. There would be numbers on the floor at each section, and we just have to press the number and press "Go", we can just listen to the narration explaining what are the exhibits are showing..

I and Terry spent almost 1 1/2 hour in the "Singapore's History" gallery and we werent done with it.. There were just tooooo many things in that gallery.. And I've totally got no idea how Min and Poh Tee managed to get out of that gallery in just 1/2 hour.. If it wasnt for the fact that I was freezing to death and Terry was getting tired, i believe we would could easily spend another 1/2 or so in that gallery.. But, what I loved most about this gallery would be their movie screening.. The screen was almost 360 degree, surrounding us.. The sound effects were also great.. And the whole theater only had Terry and me inside.. lolx.. We really loved it even though it was just only for 10mins..

After finishing off with our tour in the museum, we went down to Orchard for a rather late lunch, or maybe it was early dinner.. Basically, our main objective at Orchard was for me to visit HMV while Min visited Kinokuniya.. Reached home feeling rather tired, and yet I'm still online at this time.. hahaz.. I've better sleep early, since the teacher for my first lesson later on is rather strict with punctuality.. Nights..

Sorry about not elaborating more on the pics since there's really nothing much to elaborate.. If i were to elaborate, I might have to start talking about Singapore's history, which I think would definitely bore alot of people.. So, just enjoy the pics.. ^^

Typical Saturday

Just like any other Saturdays, went out for lunch with Mummy.. Went to Potong Pasir for Mee Siam today.. And the queue was like OMG.. queued for 2 hours!!~~ And we finished the food in less then 1/2 hr.. hahaz.. Thankfully, the food was nice, and I have no qualms about that 2 hour wait.. In the past, i couldnt even bother to wait for 1/2 an hour.. The food there was really delicious, you guys should try it if you have the time to wait.. Its at Blk 136, Potong Pasir.. ^^

Boys Over Flowers is starting to air in Singapore tonight.. and my dad seems quite excited bout it.. He keeps missing the episodes when they showed it on KBS World.. And now, he's glad that they're showing at 9+ pm, which means he wouldnt get to miss a single ep since he'll definitely be at home at that time.. And for me, I'm also going to watch it again, even though I've watched the whole series 2/3 times.. hahaz..

Excursion to SDC & Army Museum

Get ready for the journey to discovery centre!!~~

The skies were kinda gloomy today but it didnt rain.. The journey from school to Discovery Centre took us about 30mins.. p.s i was sitting next to a hearing-problem guy.. I'm serious, there's defintely something wrong with this guy's hearing.. Not sure if its in a bad way or the other?? His iPod was on full blast till I could even hear the lyrics to the song very very clearly, and yet, he still can hear me talking to me.. *faints* ;p

After the "long" journey, we reached Discovery Centre.. And I can say that it hasn't really changed the last time I had been there, which was 10 years ago?? Upon arrival, I learnt that we would be going to the Army Museum too.. HOORAY!!~ I've always wanted to go there.. Throughout the Discovery Centre tour, i was just looking forward to the Army Museum Tour instead.. lolx..

Started off the tour, and the guide talked about the different periods of times where Singapore grew from just a small island into a big city now.. We also watched a video on the Merlion.. It was a rather funny video which gave us insights on Singapore and how Singaporeans are like..

Arrived at a gallery where we get to have a feel of being a news-reporter.. And poor Terry got sabo-ed by us.. Thus, he became a news-reporter for a few minutes and just in case you guys havent notice, the news is in black and white.. p.s this the guy who sat next to me in the bus.. lol.. ^^

Weee!!~~ The tour for the discovery centre ended and we're finally off to my most favourite part of today's excursion... And that is the SAFTI Bus tour and the Army Museum.. No pics for the SAFTI Bus tour as we weren't allowed to take pics, if not, we might get "shot" when caught.. lolx.. jkjk.. Found many places of SAFTI familiar, since I have been there once when Kor was training in there.. and only today did I realise that SAFTI is rather big...

The tour at the Army Museum has offically started!!~~ *excited* We first walked through a gallery where we got to find out more on how our army was involved in helping out inseveral incidents such as riots that had happened in the bus.. Just in case if you were wondering whether I had forgotten to rotate the 1st 2 pictures, they are in the correct position.. Its actually an overturned bus which deciphers a bus riot that happened in the past..

And in this gallery, we also got to see the different periods that our army went through like what they ate, what they wore and so on.. We also got to see how the soldier's bunks were like in the past.. But I think their bunks now are better.. Soldiers these days are being treated better then the past..

Got to watch a 4D show.. The storyline was about soldiers protecting our country.. We got to "walk through" with them when they were fighting the enemies.. When the helicopter flew, the strong gusting wind could be felt in the theater.. When shots were fired, gun fire could be seen.. When chasing enemies on sea, water could be felt splashing due to the waves.. When explosions occured, smoke could be smelt and felt.. The whole experience was awesome!!~~ After the 4D show, I got to try my hands at firing/shooting enemies.. And oh boy, I'm quite good in it?? hahaz..

Soon, it was time to leave.. Everything was soo fast.. I havent enjoyed enough.. Thus, I'll definitely be going back again.. And I'm sure there's someone who's more than willing to accompany me.. lolx..

Journey back to school seems to take a longer time, perhaps it was because of peak hour.. The number of people in the bus also became smaller as many went back by themselves, and the bus became extremely quiet.. Think everyone was tired... Slept during the journey back.. Enjoyed myself today.. Had great company throughout the excursion.. Loved it.. Another excursion next week, this time we'll be going to the National Museum..

This song was included in Danson's 2nd album.. I believe this was the 1st song where he tried out dancing.. Love this song since it has a rather strong and repetitive beat.. And this song's style is different from his 1st album..His 1st album focused mainly on his vocals, while the 2nd album was somewhat like an "all-rounder"..*dang* i wonder why i have this soft spot for songs which have a strong beat and sad lyrics.. *dang once again*

After topping the charts with the song "Sorry, Sorry", Super Junior is going to promote a new song called It's You..This song is gonna be included in their repackaged album(again).. The repackaged album is gonna have 4 new songs included.

Through this MV, I finally get to realise how big Super Junior is (p.s as in the group size).. And we can finally get to see Kibum again after missing out for so long during the "Sorry Sorry" promos.. Though this song is not as "fast-beat" as "Sorry, Sorry", it still has a an cathcy tune to it.. It also looks like that HanKyung is starting to get more screen time.. Well, in short, TO ME, i love this new song since the song's kinda cathcy and there's a sad side to this song too.. I wouldnt really be surprised though if this song gets to top the charts again as Super Junior has a rather big fan base??

Well, nevertheless, new songs = good songs = more songs to listen to = larger CD collection = I LOVE IT..wahaha

Finally it's a public holiday but sadly though, it fell on a saturday, so it doesnt really make a big difference.. lolx.. By right, was able to sleep till late in the morning but somehow, i woke up rather early as mummy came into my room to search for the house phone, and i wasnt able to get back to sleep again.. hahaz..

Brought mummy out to lunch today.. Settled lunch at J8's Crystal Jade, had their set lunch which was rather huge.. And i hate huge portions of food.. lolx.. I paid for lunch since tomorrw's Mother's Day.. After that, we spent the rest of the time shopping at J8, well, practically it should be window shopping.. Saw the 2 "High Heel Horses" at J8, couldnt even figured out it was a horse at 1st..

*One day, I'm gonna buy a big house for Mummy, with massage chair.. hehe^^

Time to be independent

Perhaps its time for me to come out of my parents' protective wings.. And start being independent.. Maybe I should get a PT job?? maybe during the holidays or over the weekends?? At least I'll get to earn some keep for myself and wouldnt have to just keep stretching out my hands for money.. Even if it isnt for money, I should get a job to gain exposure too.. After communication skills lesson today, it hit me hard that I really wouldnt have much experience if i decide to go out into the working world in the next few years.. And I understand myself clearly, I'm definitely going to suffer next time if i dun start "going out into the world" now.. And in order to fufill my dreams, I've got to find a job soon too..Thus, any job offers from anyone that can help me start my path?? hehe.. ^^

I'm totally bored.. Currently having a 3 hour break.. And the Internet in school is really terrible, and every website that I'm loading seems to take ages.. Ever since school reopened, Facebook seems to be the latest trend.. Everywhere I go, I can definitely see Facebook on the computer screens... But still, it only helps me tide over a teeny weeny bit of time.. It definitely cant keep me occupied for 3 hours.. Oh Man!!~ I've got another hour to go and I've run out of things to do..

Hmm.. While surfing through Youtube, saw a video of DBSK's Mirotic Concert In NanJing.. Can you believe that its the whole concert??!! Its a fancam though.. I wonder how that person managed to film the whole concert.. It would definitely be a big No-No in Singapore.. Truthfully speaking though, its kinda wrong to film the whole concert.. Its like the production team/companies and those who organise the concert would definitely have gone through lots to make the concert possible.. And this person just simply video-ed the whole concert and distribute it online.. Its kinda unfair to the organisers and entertainers.. If it was just a small clip, its understandable, but the whole concert, defintiely a "no-can-do" thing..

okie, i'm done with my babbling.. And I still have another hour to go!!~ AHH!!~~ how boring can this be?? Btw, I'm kinda grateful that I am taking the Financial track.. As compared to the other tracks, I think I would still stick to Financial if I was given another chance to choose.. At least, its somewhat easier to understand as I can relate it to my daily life.. And, i get a free "financial advisor" by just asking my teacher on financial matters.. WAHAHAHA!!~~

252 : The Signal Of Life

Went to watch this movie after school today.. Well, it isnt really as good as I had expected.. The story line was abit over-exagarrated.. Take for example a scence where the main actor was buried underground, and it was meters underground when a tunnel collapsed.. He managed to walk out alive while carrying another guy.. And when i mean walk out alive, i meant he really crawled out on his own.. Just imagine, how did he even managed to climb out while he was deep down underground..

Well,had expected lots of touching scenes in this show, or at least scenes that can make one cry.. But nah, it didnt really happen to me... The only scene that was really touching was when the little girl was crying out for her dad.. That really made me cry..

And do you know?? Terry who was seated next to me kept "screaming" when those grisly scenes were shown.. Even before I could "scream" when those scenes appeared, i could hear him "screaming" before me.. And for goodness sake, he's a guy.. lolx... I always thought only we gals would shriek during grisly scenes..

Well, I got kinda bored... So I decided to play with this program that we learnt in School, its called the Sun Java Wireless toolkit.. This is where we create mobile applications.. Since I had nothing to do, I decided to use this program to draw TWEETY!!~~I know it looks abit sucky, well, not really abit, its alot.. hahaz.. but hey, what can you expect, this was drawn using java codes, well, it looks like java to me.. But nevertheless, this is definitely drawn using code..^^ I'm too lazy to draw the legs.. Will draw them once I feel bored again..

Quick Update about school

Okie, as mentioned in the previous previous post, I mentioned about the temperature screening booth that all of us has to go through.. Well, it isnt that bad as i had expected.. I had initially expected it to take a very very long time, but it was rather quick.. All I had to do was to walk and walk and walk and i'm out of the screening centre.. And from this compulsory screening every morning, it made me realise that there were lots of students in NYP.. hahaz.. And since, i'm stuck in school the whole day, i've got to go to the screening centre twice daily.. And we'll always hop over during break since we're "fast-eaters" and got lots of time to spare anyway.. ^^ Hooray, they'll be giving us thermometers tomorrow.. Basically, there's nothing to be really happy about, but looking at the thermometer thats on my dining table and even myself isnt sure of its condition, there's no harm getting a new one though..

Time passes real fast, and we're in the 3rd week of school already... Next week would be the week which I dread the most.. Communication skills presentation is next week, and i've yet to decide on what to talk about.. My mind is a total blank..Worst of all, its formal..argh!!~~I think there's a quiz next week too.. There's also a mini presentation on Internet Usage Policy or something like that.. And the only thing that I'm looking forward to next week would definitely be the excursion!!~~ WOOHOO!!~~ Excursion to discovery centre!!~~ What a place right, but its the 1st excursion in poly and i've always thought of going to discovery centre but the thought of it being so far away just makes me give up the thought.. hahaz..

Celebrated Daddy's 80th birthday today.. So in chinese, it would mean 八十大寿.. hehe^^
went to Safra for lunch, its been quite a long time since all for us got together for lunch... everyone's really changed especially Donovan.. (psst, he's the one in black).. hahaz.. Couldnt really recognise him.. and i apparently stared at him for a few seconds when he stepped in b4 i told myself "Hey, that's donovan".. and when my kor saw him, i also think kor did stare at him for a while too.. wahaha...

Had the set lunch, well, almost everyone did.. and i didnt expect them to have set lunches even on weekends.. Coincidentally, there were 2 tables that were celebrating birthdays.. But this time, it wasnt the same as those at Hard Rock Cafe and Fish & Co. .. lol.. and we finally managed to get a family photo, it isnt as though we dun hv one.. but the last time we had a family photo was during kor's wedding and it was quite long ago.. and we also took a "bigger family photo", and thats really the 1st family photo that we took.. I'll post that up when i get it...

we had to take our temperature before we entered Safra, and wear this "I'm Cool" sticker.. Look like the Swine Flu is definitely taking an impact on Singapore.. Lets just hope it wouldnt arrive in Singapore.. And should i mention that from tomorrow onwards, when i go to school, i will have to go thru this temperate screening thingy b4 gg for class, which means i have to leave earlier for school, as i'm very sure that its gonna take some time... Wats worst is, you'll be given a sticker if you "pass" the temperature check.. But these stickers are only valid for 1 timeslot which is the AM slot and PM slot... Which means if i'm gonna be in school from 9am-4pm, i 'll have go to the screening counter twice.. And practically, i must go to the counter twice everyday except fri..O.O

actually not a major change, just decided to change the i to a 1..
Was just hoping for a change, in both the address and of course, myself..
1 signifies being first.. Well, basically not coming up tops or being better than everyone else.. All i want is just to be the best within myself, and keep striving forward no matter what i do.. I currently find myself not trying hard enough in everything that i do, no goals for myself.. I'm just living day by day...

But from now, all this is gonna change..I hope i'll be able to strive forward and become a better person...

Went to Novena today during break for lunch and to buy some stuffs... Found this shop selling "Dan Zhu Shui", the one where you have to push this "marble-like" thingy into the bottle first b4 drinking.. Its really hard to find this in Singapore nowadays..

After Novena, headed back to school for NE lesson.. Watched a video on Singapore's history... kinda interesting.. wahaha... Decided to go to Orchard after school with Jas.. Went back home to put our stuffs b4 meeting at Orchard.. We decided to share the costs of the Kinokuniya membership... Bought quite lots of books, but after discount, its kinda worth it.. oh ya, should i mention that while i was queueing at the cashier, the person in front of me bought like over $700 worth of books.. *faints*

In this ep, they wanted to help KangIn get closer with SungMin and HeeChul to get closer with EunHyuk.. I laughed throughout the whole show... And I loved the part where they did the "Miss paegent" section.. The 4 guys had to dress as girls, and it was damm funny.. But i couldnt believe my eyes when HeeChul came out, he was totally like a gal... I couldnt even recognise him..

Stars Awards this year was kinda sucky.. Well, I've never really enjoyed it anyway.. But, this year was the worst.. This year they incorporated this system where when an artiste's is giving his speech, there would be this "timer sound" when their time is almost over, and they'll just simply off the mics.. its like WTF, thats totally rude.. i understand that they want the artistes to stick to the time given, but when they hear the "timer sound", hw do u expect them to say their speech calmly.. They're bound to panic and forget wat they wanna say.. And there were some awards where they incorporated magic to reveal the result.. another WTH... they should have just scrapped the sucky mini magic show and give this time to the artistes for their speech..

Guests this time round, ok la..this year were all actors/actresses.. at least last year they had singers... there were big names like Kim John Hoon & the footballer which i cant remember his name.. *slaps myself*.... perhaps ecomnomic downturn?? p.s dun say i'm bias coz the guests this time round were mostly frm HK... Even my mum agreed with wat i said..

Well, this proves once again that we should never ever place too much hopes on Singapore based shows..

The Peranakan Museum

Went to the Peranakan Museum today.. There were lots of people since the museum was celebrating its 1st anniversary.. They had a fair going on at the same time where all these perenakan stuffs were being sold..I loved the exhibits inside the museum.. Its so beautiful and its really hard to see these things in my normal life.. Well, nth much to say le, so i'll just let the pics do the talking.. There's not much pics though.. hahaz

What's this lion's name?? cant remember le. Its the mascot for the Kindness movement.. If you look closer, its holding a banner that say "Please give way to other drivers".. But i'm thinking, this banner is abit a distance from the roads, how are the drivers gg to see the words.. Neverthelss, its cute..

This are just some pics from the Museum... The cat used to be the mascot of the museum as it always hanged around there.. The story is something like that, cant really remember what was written on that "notice" above the cat.. hahaz..

Saw this olden days telephone.. I picked it up and listen to wat the person inside it had to say.. There were 3 diff telephone frm 3 different times.. And if you pick it up, you could listen to what the Peranakans spoke over the phone during their times.. The feel of using this phone and our current phone is so different.. I think if we were to use this type of phone to talk for a long period of time, it would be rather tiring..

Mini Rainbow

Had school today for a mere 2 hours.. Woke up sooo early just to attend school from 8 - 10.. sianz... Not wanting to reach home that soon, walked from Khatib to Northpoint.. Along the way, saw a miniature rainbow.. hahaz.. it was just in between of 2 clouds.. Lucky me, i've never really gotten to see a rainbow in Singapore.. Well, it isnt easy, since I'm surrounded by buildings.. lolx..

안녕! Guess wat? I'm typing this with my phone. Wahaha... The contract for my phone was up,so went to renew it and took the LG Renoir..Hope P.T wouldn't mind me getting the same phone as her..Its really a sweet phone, was actually considering between this and Pixon, but in the end Renoir won cos it has wifi and it has Korean in it, so now i wouldn't worry bout having nameless songs. Lol. Couldn't believe that I'm using a touchscreen phone since i told myself before that i would never ever get one. But,I'm getting used to it le, it isn't as bad as i had expected. Well, lets talk bout school today, its kinda considered as the worst day ever.. Went for lesson from 9 to 11.. Had a 5 hour break after that, its sian de lor. Wanted to catch a movie with Min but sadly they only had a 4 plus show.. Lagi worst, even more time to spare... Decided to upgrade my line since we were free like noone's business.. So brought Min back to my house to get the things that i needed to trade in my phone.. And now, there's another person who knows where i stay. DANGER!! Went back to school for lesson, and in the end, there was only an hour's lesson instead of the 2 hours. Even more sian, if i knew the last lesson was e-learning, i wouldn't have gone back, wasted 2 dollars on MRT... Tomorrow's another worst day,lesson from 8 to 10 only.. Wat the... Wanna go shopping centre after lesson also no use, it isn't even open!! *I'm loving my phone!

Was watching last week's Star King.. It is slowly becoming a weekly routine fer me.. I'm sooo loving this show..

Poor Shiwon, gt picked by the "contestant" to challenge him.. But i'm surprised that Shiwon managed to get that many clips on his face.. With all those clips on their faces, it must hurt lots.. The clips on the contestant's (guy in white) face looks like the outline of a lion.. hahaz.. ouch!!~ I'm feeling the pain for them..

I really love this part.. The dinosaur looks extremely real.. There's even saliva.. But I really pity the person who's under that "suit".. It weighs 40KG, and the guy below it is so skinny... I could even get goosebumps watching this dinosaur even though I know its a fake.. ITS JUST SOO REAL!~

*sianz.. i'm starting to lose motivation for sch today.. gg to sch fer 2 hrs lecture at 9am, and having a 5 hours break after that.. oh man!!~~

Missing the others

1st day of school and it was boring.. hahaz.. spent the 1st 30-45 mins of the 1st lesson signing in to the yahoo groups to get the practical material... lots and lots of time wasted.. they decided not to use CMS, which is a good thing, but the way of getting the materials frm yahoo groups wasnt any better... saw the updated timetable, having lessons on fri frm 8-10am, oh man.. then wat to do after that?? go home and continue sleeping?? lolx... and we're gonna hv a 3 hour break on thurs... this new updated timetable sux.. hope they change it back to the old one... another funny thing is we're having communcication skills on fri, and the other grp is oso having it on the same day, and with the same teacher, and in the same class... BUT, we're in the different grp, ours is frm 8-10, while theirs is 9-11.. it seems very very funny... ~~skipped lesson on the very first day of school to go watch movie... shhh.... dun tell anyone.. hahaz..~~ went to watch 17 again... it was a very nice & funny show..

Madness Pt.2

Went out with Rat today to Tampines... This time, when I sms-ed her to tell her that i was reaching, she was still asleep.. dotz... another sleeping beauty.. Planned to watch a movie, so headed to Tampines Mall 1st to find out the movie timings, but the queue for the tix turned us off... So gave up the thought of movie... walked around Tampines Mall and Century Square in less than an hour as there wasnt really much shops selling what we were looking for.. The cinema at Century Square wasnt crowded, so we decided to catch Fast & Furious 4... Dbsk's song was used in that show, and it was kinda funny when i heard it.. lolx.. the show was nice, just my type of show.. The cars and racing were whoa... Walked over to Tampines 1, and the crowd hasnt died down yet, including the queue for Uniqlo... The queue for Bus 969 was terrible this time.. had to wait for the 2nd bus b4 we boarded it.. Thankfully the 2nd bus was a bendy bus, if nt, think we'll have to wait longer b4 reaching home..

Unique Thinking

Went back school in the morning to buy notes.. And luckily, i did manage to drag myself back to school, since they changed the way of how we are supposed to purchase the notes.. Now, all the notes are being sold at the TFA instead of the bookshop.. And, we'll have to queue or should i say squeeze with the students from other schools just to buy notes.. Was told people complained that they were blocking the way when they buy from the bookshop.. Who in the hell complained??!! Complain about blocking the way eh, and yet they allow a mini cafe to be opened at the "walkway" from the main gate to the escalator.. WTH!!~~ this one is really blocking the way... looks like NYP's logic thinking is seriously bad.. Even for their graduation, they only allow 1 parent to be invited.. Who in the world would only want 1 parent to attend their graduation, do they presume that all of us come from single-parent family... If you want to bring another parent, still gt to see if there's extra space.. Oh wat the ~~

after buying the notes, went Tiong Bahru for lunch.. Yea, with all the notes.. and thats why decided to come straight home after lunch.. it was just soo heavy. hahaz

Shopping Tour

I finally stepped out of the house today.. Spent the whole day at Orchard Road together with Xue..Felt like we were living a "tai-tai" life today.. wahaha.. all we did was shop, eat, drink and shop.. hahaz..

1st stop was to meet up with Rat for lunch..While waiting for her to meet us, we had a drink at McCafe.. Ordered Hot Chocolate and i loved the way it appeared.. The milk/chocolate looked like a flower?? Well, was supposed to go to Ming Arcade for Malay Food.. But we went to Hard Rock Cafe instead .. Someone at Hard Rock Cafe was celebrating his bdae, and once again, whole restaurant sang bdae song fer him.. and he had to blow off the candle while standing on a chair with a super duper long straw.. and the toopid waiter had to move the candle all around.. now i know, hard rock cafe & Fish & Co. isnt the place to celebrate bdaes... hahaz.. The ambience there was nice.. noticed a special clock that had the hour hand and second hand but no minute hand.. lolx.. Food there was nice and it was very affordable.. Cost $10 per person, inlcusive of Soup of the Day, Main Course, Drink, 1 mini tub of Haagen Dazs ice-cream, even with GST & service charge...

After lunch, poor rat had to go back to work, while Xue and me went on our shopping tour..
Went to Wisma, Taka, Cineleisure, Heeren, Far East Plaza and John Little Scotts.. Well, you can say that we went to almost all the shopping centres that you can find in Orchard.. While at Taka, we went crazy fer a moment and went in to the Gucci shop, and OMG, the bag that I want is $980.. sigh.. still an extremely long way to go.. but i'm better than Xue, hers cost $1080.. hahaz.. wanted go LV but the queue was like soooo long and they allowed 5 people in each time.. so gave up the idea on queueing up... Had "tea-break" at Taka... Basically it was just an excuse to rest our legs.. From the cafe, Orchard Road looked really really empty as compared to the weekends..

Before we knew it, it was already 7+... Headed back to Northpoint to continue to shop.. wahaha..

*sigh.. know what?? I was taking down the module codes for the current semester, so that it would be easier when buying notes, and I realised there was 7 diff modules... Thats alot?? even though not all are examiable, but still...

I'm sooo bored.. I'm like totally bored out of my wits..Bored till I laid on my bed for 2 hours, just staring at the ceiling.. I really cant wait to go shopping tomorrow... AHH!!~~ Going mad...

Was re-watching a few past eps of Star King... Wanted to share this enormous piece of food.. Not sure whats it called in english though.. its just huge, its about 50cm X 20 cm.. it must have taken a lot of work to cook it.. Poor guys, they must have had a hard time eating it.. lolx..

Holidays are coming to an end.. Should I be happy or sad?? if you asked me a few weeks ago, i would say I'm happy that the holidays are coming to an end.. But, if you're asking me now, i'll say I'm sad.. wahaha..

Anyway, I was watching this korean variety called Star King.. I really love this show, get to see many "unique" things that people can do.. Its somewhat like a show where ppl get to showcase their talents.. And there was a part on body painting.. Its just so amazing how the artist paint those bodies.. it must have taken a long time to get it done.. I've received emails on hand paintings but i never thought it was real.. but just take a look at this pics and be amazed... p.s the clothes in the last 3 pics are all paintings...

Had Taiwan porridge for lunch today.. My love for porridge hasnt died down as yet... went all the way to Kembangan for lunch.. ate at this restaurant called 古早人?? it sounds something like that. hahaz.. When eating Taiwan porridge, 1 thing that on the "must order" list would definitely be the cai-poh omelette.. the dishes there cant be compared to Oasis Taiwan Porridge, thats one thing for sure.. but, the price is way more cheaper.. today it cost us $25.. if we were to eat at Oasis, i bet it would easily go over $50...

bus-ed down to Tampines to take a look at the new Tampines 1 since its kinda near to Kembangan.. and its total madness in there.. the mall was extremely full of ppl, till its hard to go into the shops and really shop.. and the queue to go into the jap store, Uniqlo is even more crazy.. so we left in less than 20mins and headed over to Tampines mall, not that many people as compared to Tampines 1 but still there's lots of people.. Looks like Tampines has a big population of people eh.. lolx...

Went to Mount Vernon to pray today.. And same as last year, we lost our way again.. This time, we went all the way to Pasir Ris.. lolx.. Thank goodness there was this thing called MAPS... And luckily, there was a guy with us.. wahaha.. I seriously think that guys are better at reading maps, while gals are actually better at remembering the way w/o maps.. The only guy, Ron was in charge of giving directions by looking at the map.. And we got closer to our destination.. But the roads around Mount Vernon were forever changing, and the map we got was like published in 2002.. So, if you happen to be behind a car that keeps changing lanes from left to right, right to left and stopping in the middle of a split road, around Aljunied, that's most probably our car.. wahaha...

After praying, Ron suggested going to Geylang for Dimsum.. But he doesnt know the exact location.. So out came the map once again.. But we ended up having lunch at Lavendar Food Court when we past by since we werent sure of the exact location and Geylang is kinda big?? No meat today since its Good Friday, i ended up eating fish soup, and i swear it was garlic soup instead.. lolx..

Reached home feeling all tired, perhaps it was because of waking up early.. i havent been waking up early for the past 2 months.. And i'm wondering if i'm able to get up when school starts...

Yippee.. I've finally reached that 200 mark for my cd collection.. And next up is the 300 mark.. You guys must be thinking that I'm mad right?? Well, even I myself also think that I'm mad, having so many cds.. Awhile back, i did think about this question : Is it worth it buying so many cds?? whats gonna happen to them one day if I reach the day where i bid goodbye (hope its still long).. Are the cds gonna be thrown away, and there goes my money.. Really had a serious thought bout this... but still, i have that urge to collect even more cds... I think its perhaps this is the one and only thing which I'm able to do... There are so many other things which I wanna do/learn.. but, there's always a "NO" slap right in my face... so, i guess collecting cds are currently the only thing i'm able to do and at the same time, i'm happy doing it..

Had lunch with Mummy at Fortunate Restaurant.. Really like feel of the restaurant.. Like the way how they push the carts around with the Dim Sums in it.. The only thing is that they'll ask u once, and after that you'll have to ask them instead as they'll just push the cart past your table.. $55 for Dim Sum for 2 is abit kinda ex??

After lunch, headed to Suntec for a walk.. Mummy initially wanted to go to Taka.. but Taka is a place where u can only see but can hardly buy stuff.. haha.. at least Suntec has more "affordable" things to buy.. and we were hoping that there was some fair or such, but sadly, there was none..

Met up with Uncle Ringo for dinner... Had the fish steamboat at Balestier, or is it Jln Toa Payoh.. well, i never bother to memorise road names.. i only know how to get there.. had dinner kinda early today.. thus, when we finished our dinner, the sky was still bright.. lolx.. decided to go down to Marina Barrage.. The night view there is awesome.. but sadly enough, digi cams are never ever good in night scenes?? and i hate high ISO and i hate flash.. so nt much pics though.. but believe me, seeing the view with ur naked eye is far more better than this lousy pics.. wahaha... and its funny how u can find ppl flying kites there in total darkness... and we were lucky enough to get on the last shuttle bus.. will definitely find a day to go there in the day time..

It has been almost 5 weeks into the holidays... And it seems that I am losing touch will all my codings.. Decided to change my blog skin last night, but it took me almost 4 hours to figure out just a simple section of codes.. After it was all done, only did i realise that these codes were kinda simple, and i was wondering why was i having a hard time with it in the beginning.. hahaz..

well, after it was being set up and everything was done.. Guess what?? The creator's bandwith exceeded, and all the pictures that were being used in this skin could nt be seen.. sianz.... in the end, i had to change back to my old skin.. Luckily, his bandwidth was ok this morning, so i saved all the pics and uploaded to my own account.. Talk about luck...

Anyway, how's this skin?? comments please??

Its April Fool's Day today.. Did anyone got a trick played on them?? Well, at least I think i did.. hahaz.. Wanted to cook lunch today when there was no gas... Of all times... I wouldnt have bothered bout it and eaten cup noodles instead.. But, considering the fact that I went to the market to buy fish, i had no choice to cook else the fish wouldnt be fresh if i were to keep it.. In the end, had to use this steamboat cooker to cook, and it was hard controlling the fire since the fire couldnt get smaller, its as though its "one size".. lolx.

In a few hour's time, 2 shows will be airing their last episode.. so sad... this would mean that i'm gonna have more time to waste, since there's nothing for me to be watch.. One would be Korea's Boys Over Flowers(BOF), and another would be the local drama, Housewives' Holidays..

Seriously speaking, out of the 3 versions of the Hana Yori manga, i like Korea's version the best.. And, taiwan's version is definitely gonna be at the bottom of the list.. Thinking back, I think i only watched Part 1 of the Taiwanese version.. I remembered buying the complete set of the show, but the moment Dao Ming Si lost his memory, i couldnt bring myself to continue to watch the show.. Perhaps it was because of that Singaporean actress's role, how could someone be so b*tchy.. I just couldnt stand her.. and up till now, i dun even know where those sets of VCDs are... Its kinda funny how Taiwan version can have so many eps... Dao Ming Si lost his memory right at the beginning of Part 2.. But for the other 2 versions, Domyouji/Junpyo would only lose their memory in the last few eps.. at least it wouldnt put me in so much agony, seeing how he cant remember Makino/Jan Di..

The cast of BOF werent that great in the beginning.. but its really obvious how their acting skills have really improved alot.. For example, Kim Hyun Joong who acts as Ji Hoo.. In the first few eps, he was really just like a statue/robot reading out lines, with those emotions that were as though they were being forced to "come out".. Everytime I watch those scenes, i cant stop myself from laughing.. BUT, look at him now... His acting is soo natural, that sometimes I can really feel how Ji Hoo would be feeling...

The other show, Housewives Holiday.. I know how local dramas can never really beat Taiwan/Korea/Jap dramas.. But at least it takes up 1 hour of my time every night.. hahaz... I kinda like this show since it touches on the lives of 3 housewives whose family are diff from one another.. It also shows the problems each household faces, like nasty mother-in-law problems; husband having affairs; husband with a gambling addiction.... The only 1 problem i hate most about local television would definitely be its endless stream of advertisements.. and its really too much.. just for a 1 hour show, there would be at least 5 ads... even when the show is ending in like 5/10 mins time, they will still show an ad.. get so irritated by it.. thats why i'm never addicted to local programs.. I would prefer watching cable if i were to choose between local channels and cable TV... They do have ads but not as much as local TV.. For a 1 1/2 hour show, there could only be 1 ad... oh, how i like this type of channels.. hahaz..
